FAQs
- When should I arrive? Please arrive at 1800 for Race 2 (at least 30 minutes before the start time).
- Are helmets and suits provided? Yes! We provide all the equipment you need to race, including a helmet, suit, balaclava, gloves, and of course use of a 390CC TB R25 Rental Kart.
- Can graduates enter SUKC? Yes, if you have graduated a Scottish University in the last 5 years you can enter the SUKC, however only current students can contribute to your University’s championship ranking.
- Is there live timing available? Yes! Please refer to Larkhall Circuit live timing: https://larkhallcircuit.com/live-leaderboard/
- How are the grids determined? The total driver count of each university is distributed between groups A and B approximately equally. An odd number of entries per university or imbalance in total A and B group size may result in the split being slightly different. Once driver counts to A and B are assigned, we will attempt to swap half of drivers who were in A and half in B at the previous round to the alternate group.
- How are the championship standings calculated? The top 20 drivers in each race are awarded championship points: 22 points for 1st, 20 for 2nd, 19 for 3rd, 18 for 4th and so on. The top 4 drivers per University from each round count towards the University table. The best 6 of 7 rounds for both the driver and University standings are counted in the final championship standings.
